I'm a Nerdfighter. I love to sing, play piano, read, laugh with friends, help others, and learn. I also like the Internet way too much than is probably healthy. Because one of the uses of the Internet is finding people with similar interests to talk to, here is a little more about what I like.

Favorite books:
Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, anything by Scott Westerfeld (Uglies, Midnighters, Leviathan, etc.), Eragon (aka the Inheritance Cycle), The Great Gatsby, Shakespeare, John Green, The Mortal Instruments and other books by Cassandra Clare (guilty pleasure!), Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz (also guilty pleasure). The list goes on....

Favorite Movies:
Now, I'm not much a movie person, but I have a few favorites here and there. They include Secondhand Lions, the X-Men movies, Music & Lyrics, Lord of the Rings (I'm working on the books, I promise!), How to Train Your Dragon, Mulan, Mary Poppins. I mostly like children's movies, but I don't care much for Disney Princesses.

Favorite Music:
A lot of different stuff. I'm getting into classical music and opera, I like symphonic metal and some alternative rock, I listen to some German pop, some show tunes, some mainstream pop, and soundtracks. Some of my favorite bands, composers, and singers include Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Schubert, Brahms, Beethoven, Eric Whitacre, John Williams, John Powell, Josh Groban, Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Anna Netrebko (I like any classical singers, really), Silbermond, Ich + Ich, Sum 41, Skillet, and Lady Gaga. I also like YouTube artists, like Luke Conard, Kristina Horner (the two combined=ALL CAPS), Hank Green, Alex Carpenter, Jason Munday, and Ryan Seiler (can you tell I like Ministry of Magic?).

Other interests:
Old-fashioned things (I love the 1800s and early 1900s- up to 1950s). Fashion, architecture, jewelry, technology. I love it.

art history (I love the Antiques Road Show. Unfortunately I don't get to watch it often enough).
archaelogy
Brain science, like the science of sleep, psychology, savantism, mental sickness. Humans are pretty interesting.
